Transfer to Baños, (4 hours, ice cream on the route) lodge in a hostel with swimming pool (Sangay, Sierra Madre,) |

Biking trip to the route of the waterfalls, visit the cable car, Pailon del diblo, Rio Verde, etc. return to Baños, if the family prefer the trip can be done with a car or combination of bikes and car, part of the family can follow the bikes and then enjoy the activities and lunch together. Also it is possible to rent motorcycles or Quadra cars for teenagers. |

Transfer to Tena (6hours) with stop in Puyo, Omaere park and Fatima rescue centre. Lodge at night in Puerto Napo or Misahualli with swimming pool. |

Rafting trip class III on the Jatun Yacu and Napo River suitable for all the family (members older than 10 years) return to the lodge. If the family has young kids the option will be a visit to “Amzoonico” a rescue centre in the region and a guided tour to the jungle or canoe trip long the Napo river. |

Jungle day trip in the upper Napo with no more than 2 hours of hike or just relax in the lodge and walk around |

Transfer to Otavalo (7 hours) stop in Papallacta for lunch, Cayambe for snacks and lodge in Otavalo. |

Otavalo markets and afternoon visit to the Condor park and Peguche falls |

This trip brings you the chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and craftsmen villages that surround the Imbabura Mountain. Starting from Otavalo you will see the world famous carving town of San Antonio, followed by the colonial town of Ibarra where the past meets the present. Next we will visit the Archeological museum of Banco Central, before ending the tour in the peaceful village of San Clemente at la Esperanza where you will see the embroidery women’s cooperative, learn about medicinal plants and enjoy a traditional lunch with an indigenous family, From there we will be back to Otavalo.

This tour will show you the attractive and important places in Imbabura province and allow you get up close and personal with the people and their culture. It is also an excellent opportunity to buy handicrafts.
Our trip starts in Otavalo and and then we will visit San Pablo lake, (Reed handicrafts and hand made paper) Peguche waterfall, Peguche village (musical instruments and tapestry) Carabuela (poncho factory & wool processing) Cotacachi, (the leather capital of Ecuador), and Cuicocha Crater Lake, where optionally you can take a boat ride around the islands. For lunch we will stop in a traditional restaurant at Cotacachi or Cuicocha Lake.

Chota valley is located 45 km south of Otavalo and is the only part of the Ecuadorian highlands with a very significant Black population descendant from slaves brought to work in the plantations during old colonial times. Leaving from Otavalo we will vist Ibarra, Yahuarcocha Lake and arrive at our destination at Chota valley, coming back through Salinas and Chachimbiro springs.
