Ecuador is full of routes of extraordinary beauty for the practice of mountain biking. There are remote communities, mountains, lakes, and forests  among the many other routes that you will be able to admire.
We will transport you to the highest point of the route from where we will get on our bicycles and descend via the most beautiful routes. Our guide will accompany you during the descent and our car will accompany you during  the entire trip:

Mojanda lakes and Cochasqui piramyds

The Mojanda mountain range is the natural division between Quito valley and Otavalo valley. On clear days the views to both sides are amazing. For this bike ride will transport you to Caricocha Lake from where we will pedal to Huarmicocha Lake before riding up for 10 min to the top of a mountain and then descend down to the Cochasqui pyramids archeological site on the Quito side of the mountain range. After a visit to the museum and lunch we will ride the bikes for another 8km. more and return to Otavalo by car.

Intag cloud forest and thermal springs (2 day trip)

This is a spectacular trip on which you will enjoy the bio diversity and the amazing adventure of descending  by bike from the paramo at 3400m. to the cloud forest at 1600m. Afterwards we will rest and enjoy the warm weather and the Nangulbi thermal pools. We will sleep in private cabins and the next day visit the coffee and agaves farms on our bikes. Before the end the trip in Otavalo we will descend on bikes from Cuicocha Lake.

Cuicocha to Otavalo

We will transport you to the amazing lake Cuicocha nestled in the crater of a volcano, after a short ride in the lake area we will descend by a secondary route (different from the normal route for cars) that crosses farms, Indian villages, and finally reaches Otavalo. You’ll see a variety of different landscapes as well as local people in their daily life.
